ALPACOTTON NATURAL COLORS, 50 g

This soft and airy lightweight yarn is made by combining fine Huayaca alpaca wool, ecru-colored cotton, and soft sheep’s wool. The beautiful shades of the yarn come directly from the alpaca’s natural colors: ecru, beige, and three gentle shades of gray ranging from light gray to natural black. Thanks to the blend of three natural fibers, the yarn has a beautifully melange appearance. The yarn is pleasantly economical, offering 125 meters per 50 g skein.

The yarn is constructed using a chainette technique, where the fibers are spun together and knitted into a lightweight tube, similar to an i-cord structure. This construction allows the yarn to retain warmth while remaining light, breathable, and airy. Alpacotton is suitable for all seasons and is a wonderful choice for both children’s and adults’ knitwear — including lightweight summer sweaters and shawls.

The yarn is suitable for gentle machine washing, but for delicate garments we recommend airing and hand washing. The yarn is made in Italy.
