Superfine alpaca and cotton blend

Laura is a softly fluffy lace-weight chainette yarn made from a blend of superfine alpaca and long-staple cotton. Our selection includes five soft shades, enhanced by a lighter cotton core thread that gives the yarn a refined, lively texture. The yarn has excellent yardage, with 600 m per 100 g, while still being quick to knit. In addition to basic stitches, it works beautifully for various rib and brioche patterns. For fluffy yarns, it is recommended to use slightly larger needles than usual to create an airy fabric, as the fluffy fibers naturally bloom during use and make the knitted surface denser over time.

Thanks to its airy construction, garments made from Laura yarn are exceptionally lightweight, soft, and warm. Its breathable qualities also make it ideal for warm-weather sweaters and other lightweight knits for both adults and children.
